Gasoline price today June 11, 2025: Crude oil decreases
Oil prices today June 11, 2025: World crude oil prices fell slightly despite positive news from the US-China trade negotiations.
World oil prices
Brent oil fell 0.17 USD to 66.87 USD/barrel; WTI oil fell 0.31 USD to 64.98 USD/barrel.
The world's two largest economies have just reached a framework agreement after a round of high-level negotiations in London, which is expected to boost the global economy and oil demand.
However, analysts said the oil price increase is still mainly technical and could weaken if there is a lack of further supportive news.
Reuters quoted US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick as saying that the deal with China also includes removing restrictions on exports of rare earths and magnets – important elements in the technology supply chain.
On the other hand, Saudi Aramco announced that it would reduce the amount of oil shipped to China in July to 47 million barrels, down 1 million barrels from the previous month. This move may indicate that OPEC+ has not yet eased production cuts, reducing the risk of oversupply in the short term.

Domestic gasoline prices
In the operating period on June 5, gasoline prices increased slightly. Specifically, E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 67 VND/liter, to a maximum of 19,263 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 133 VND/liter, not higher than 19,698 VND/liter.
On the contrary, the prices of petroleum products fluctuated unevenly. Diesel oil increased by 284 VND/liter, to 17,420 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 176 VND/liter, to 17,284 VND/liter. Fuel oil alone decreased by 86 VND/kg, to 16,178 VND/kg.
The executive agency continues not to set aside or spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products in this period.
In Vietnam, some key enterprises predict that domestic gasoline prices may increase across the board during the June 12 adjustment period. RON95 gasoline is expected to increase by about VND300/liter, while other types of oil will increase by VND200-300/liter, not taking into account the impact of the Price Stabilization Fund.
According to the Vietnam Petroleum Institute, gasoline prices may increase by 0.9 - 1.1%, while oil prices may increase by 1.3 - 1.8%. It is likely that the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will not set aside or spend the Price Stabilization Fund in the next adjustment period.
