Gasoline prices have dropped by nearly 4,000 VND/liter.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continue to utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund, resulting in a significant reduction in fuel prices, with the largest decrease being 7,966 VND/liter.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued a document to petroleum wholesalers and distributors regarding the management of domestic retail gasoline and diesel prices. Accordingly, gasoline and diesel prices will continue to be sharply reduced from 10 PM on March 11th.
During this price adjustment period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continue to utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund as follows: Biofuel: 4,000 VND/liter; Unleaded gasoline: 4,000 VND/liter; Diesel fuel: 5,000 VND/liter; Kerosene: 4,000 VND/liter; Mazut: 4,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the ceiling price for E5RON92 gasoline is 22,951 VND/liter, a decrease of 3,619 VND/liter compared to the current base price; the new price for RON95-III gasoline is 25,240 VND/liter, a decrease of 3,880 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment on March 10th.
Following the trend of gasoline prices, diesel prices decreased by 4,247 VND/liter, to 26,470 VND/liter; fuel oil decreased by 5,706 VND/kg, to 19,001 VND/kg; kerosene saw the sharpest decrease, falling by 7,966 VND/liter to 24,419 VND/liter.
Given the complex developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate, and current regulations, and in implementation of Resolution No. 36/NQ-CP dated March 6, 2026, of the Government on the regular Government meeting in February 2026, and Decision No. 441/QD-BCT of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the application of measures to use the Oil Price Stabilization Fund, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have decided on a plan to manage oil prices combining price stabilization and adjustment of domestic oil prices; continuing to maintain a reasonable price difference between E5RON92 bio-gasoline and RON95 mineral gasoline to encourage the use of biofuels in accordance with the Government's policy; and ensuring a balance of interests among market participants.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade affirms that it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the fulfillment of responsibilities in ensuring the supply of petroleum products to the market by petroleum traders and will strictly handle any violations (if any).
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance are continuing to closely monitor market developments to announce appropriate fuel prices, in accordance with directives, and promptly propose solutions to the Government and the Prime Minister on fuel price stabilization measures.
In the most recent adjustment on March 10th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to allocate funds from and not disburse from the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products. Accordingly, the disbursements from the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund are as follows: Biofuel: 4,000 VND/liter; Unleaded gasoline: 4,000 VND/liter; Diesel fuel: 5,000 VND/liter; Kerosene: 4,000 VND/liter; Mazut: 4,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, in the price adjustment on March 10th, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 1,344 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 2,073 VND/liter; diesel fuel increased by 478 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 3,380 VND/kg; while kerosene decreased by 2,706 VND/liter.
