Gasoline price increased by nearly 1,000 VND/liter
From 3:00 p.m. today (June 12), gasoline prices increased by 960 - 990 VND per liter, while oil products also increased by 775 - 860 VND per liter or kg.
The announcement from the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance said that the retail price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 990 VND per liter, to a maximum of 13,390 VND. RON 95 increased by 960 VND, to 14,080 VND per liter.
Meanwhile, oil products also increased by 775 - 860 VND per liter and kilogram. After the price increase, each liter of diesel oil will cost a maximum of 11,515 VND; kerosene 9,610 VND and mazut no more than 10,322 VND per kilogram.
This is the third consecutive time that retail prices of gasoline and oil have increased since April, after eight downward adjustments due to Covid-19.
Along with the price increase, the operator continues to deduct and release the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund. Accordingly, each liter of E5RON92 gasoline deducts 100 VND, RON 95 deducts 200 VND, and petroleum products deduct 100 - 800 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.
The Joint Ministry also spent 800 VND from the Price Stabilization Fund for each liter of E5 RON92 gasoline, 500 VND for RON 95 gasoline, and 200 VND for mazut oil.
