Gasoline prices have risen sharply after the Lunar New Year.
From 3 PM today, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline will increase by 722 VND per liter, RON 95 gasoline by 814 VND per liter, and diesel by 505-801 VND per liter.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced thatgasoline priceE5 RON 92 fuel oil is 17,270 VND per liter from 3 PM on February 25th. RON 95 is 18,084 VND per liter. Kerosene is 12,610 VND per liter, an increase of 702 VND. Diesel fuel is 13,843 VND per liter, an increase of 801 VND. Fuel oil is 13,127 VND per kilogram, an increase of 505 VND.

In this adjustment, the authorities did not draw from the price stabilization fund for any product.
The regulatory agency also allocated 2,000 VND (previously 1,729 VND) from the fund to subsidize each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline; 1,150 VND per liter for RON 95 gasoline (previously 847 VND); 800 VND per kg for fuel oil (previously 603 VND); 850 VND per liter for diesel fuel (previously 643 VND); and 900 VND per liter for kerosene (previously 635 VND).

Without the fuel price stabilization fund, the selling prices of these products would increase by 1,305 - 2,722 VND per liter or kilogram.
