Based on the directives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously listed significant increases in gasoline and diesel prices during the price adjustment period on April 11th.

Specifically, E5 gasoline increased by 1,090 VND/liter, with a selling price of 23,170 VND/liter. RON95 gasoline increased by 1,120 VND/liter, with a selling price of 23,120 VND/liter.

Diesel fuel prices increased by 710 VND/liter, bringing the selling price to 20,140 VND/liter.

Gasoline prices have risen sharply.

In this price adjustment period, the inter-ministerial committee continued not to disburse funds from the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund. At the same time, contributions to the Fund were set at 150 VND/liter for E5 gasoline, 300 VND/liter for RON95 gasoline, 300 VND/liter for diesel fuel, and 300 VND/liter for kerosene.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the global oil market during this price adjustment period (April 3-11) was influenced by factors such as: the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, also known as OPEC+, agreed to increase voluntary production cuts from May to 1.6 million barrels per day to stabilize the global market; concerns about inflation and tight monetary policies affecting global economic recovery, etc. These factors caused oil prices to fluctuate, but generally increased.

Previously, in the price adjustment on April 3rd, E5 gasoline increased by 60 VND/liter, with a selling price of 22,080 VND/liter. RON95 gasoline increased by 90 VND/liter, with a selling price of 23,120 VND/liter. Diesel fuel increased by 130 VND/liter, with a selling price of 19,430 VND/liter.
