Stargazer X Design: SUV styling on an MPV
The Stargazer X version boasts larger dimensions than the standard Stargazer, with length x width x height measurements of 4,495 x 1,815 x 1,710 (mm), making it 35 mm longer and 35 mm wider. Ground clearance has also been increased by 200 mm, a 15 mm increase, giving it a more robust appearance.
The front of the car is striking with its chrome-plated 3D grille and hood featuring embossed lines. LED daytime running lights run across the entire width of the hood, while the LED headlights are positioned low. The front bumper is integrated with the grille, forming a distinctive X shape.
The car's body features many angular lines, optimizing aerodynamics. The Stargazer X version is equipped with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rearview mirrors are positioned separately from the A-pillar to improve visibility, integrate turn signals, and have electric adjustment and folding functions. Chrome-plated door handles integrate smart keyless entry buttons.
At the rear, the triangular LED taillights are connected by an LED light bar, forming a large H shape, a distinctive identifying feature of the Stargazer.
Interior space: Spacious and practical.
The Hyundai Stargazer's cabin is designed with minimalism and functionality in mind. The dashboard features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, along with a digital information display behind the steering wheel. The four-spoke steering wheel integrates function buttons.
With a wheelbase of 2,780 mm, the interior space is quite spacious across all three rows of seats. The second row can slide and recline, while the third row can be folded flat in a 50:50 ratio to increase cargo space when needed.
Features on the top-of-the-line version include an electronic parking brake and autohold, automatic climate control with rear air vents, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless charging, and tire pressure monitoring.
Engine and operation
All versions of the Hyundai Stargazer in Vietnam use a Smartstream G 1.5L gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 115 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an intelligent continuously variable transmission (iVT).
Safety technology
On higher-end versions, the Hyundai Stargazer is equipped with safety features such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist control (HAC), and traction control system (TCS). The Stargazer X Premium version has 6 airbags and features in the Hyundai SmartSense package such as lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
