KODO's distinctive design
The 2025 Mazda2 maintains the KODO design language – "Soul of Motion" – creating a sporty and sophisticated appearance. The overall dimensions of the car are 4,340 x 1,695 x 1,470 mm with a wheelbase of 2,570 mm. Ground clearance of 140 mm and a turning radius of 4.7 meters allow for agile maneuvering in urban environments.

In the upgraded version, the front of the car stands out with a larger grille and extended chrome trim, creating a more imposing feel. The lighting system uses LED technology, with the top-of-the-line version featuring adaptive LED headlights (ALH). The front bumper has also been refined to look more robust. Along the sides of the car are 15- or 16-inch double five-spoke wheels, depending on the version.

Minimalist and functional interior design.
The Mazda2's cockpit is designed in a minimalist style while still ensuring practicality and luxury thanks to the use of high-quality materials. The three-spoke steering wheel integrates function control buttons. At the center of the dashboard is a 7-inch touchscreen, controlled via a rotary dial for the Mazda Connect system.

All versions come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Luxury and Premium versions offer additional premium features such as leather seats, automatic climate control, paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, and auto-dimming rearview mirrors. Notably, the Premium version boasts a head-up display (HUD), a rare feature in this segment.

Stable operation with Skyactiv-G engine.
The Mazda2 uses a 1.5L Skyactiv-G gasoline engine, delivering a maximum power of 110 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission with a sport driving mode.

The vehicle is equipped with an advanced acceleration control system (GVC Plus) that adjusts engine torque to adapt to changes in steering angle, providing stability when cornering and enhancing driver safety.
i-Activsense safety technology
The Premium versions of the Mazda2 are equipped with the i-Activsense intelligent active safety package, which includes advanced features such as Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), and City Smart Brake Support (SCBS). Other standard safety features include 6 airbags (from the Deluxe version), ABS, EBD, BA, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

Overall assessment
With the advantage of being an imported vehicle, a stylish design, and a list of top-of-the-segment comfort and safety features, the Mazda2 is an attractive option for customers seeking a stylish and technologically advanced urban car. However, rear seat space remains a limitation compared to competitors in the same segment.
