The price of the Yamaha Janus "on the road" in 2025 includes the price at the dealer (including VAT), registration fee, license plate fee and civil liability insurance fee (60,000 VND).
Registration fee
In major cities and towns, the registration fee is 5% of the vehicle price. In other provinces, this fee is reduced to 2%.
License plate fee
For cars priced over 40 million, the fee is 4 million VND in area I.
Cars cost from 15 to 40 million, fee is 2 million in area I.
Car price under 15 million, fee is 1 million VND in area I.
Region I includes Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Area II has a registration fee of 800,000 VND and area III is 150,000 VND.
Region II includes other centrally-run cities, provincial cities and towns.
Area III includes the remaining areas.

In order to refresh its product range, Yamaha Vietnam launched Janus 2024 with some design upgrades and many new, more practical amenities, targeting Gen Z customers.
The front end design is inspired by the image of a Gen Z girl in a trendy coat. Janus is the perfect combination of fashion and youthful dynamism.
The front cover is designed to be sophisticated, dynamic and adds a luxurious look to the car.
The front lights impress with their always-on lights and shiny chrome-plated headlight border design surrounding the main light strip, combined with two turn signal strips to create a unique style that attracts all eyes.
The special and limited edition of the all-new Yamaha Janus 125 will be integrated with the Smartkey smart lock system. This system helps you easily locate the vehicle, turn on/off the electric lock, open/lock the steering wheel with just a turn of the knob or open the saddle when combined with the seat button.
To provide a more comfortable feeling when using, the saddle is designed to be flatter and the length of the saddle surface is extended by 77mm. In particular, the heat-resistant saddle integrates new technology (only available on the Limited Edition) with a PVC layer made of material that limits heat transfer, with an optimal heat-reflecting layer, giving a cool feeling even when the bike has to be parked under the sun for a long time. At the same time, the footrest area is 20mm more spacious than the previous version, increasing comfort and convenience.
In the new version, the Yamaha Janus 125 has the most noticeable changes in the body and tail of the vehicle. The soft contour design combined with the streamlined tail creates a fashionable and dynamic appearance. The tail has a long strip of lights that curves along the body of the vehicle, creating a seamless and elegant look from front to back.
The sophisticated U-shaped taillights, a signature feature of Janus, make the car stand out and easily recognizable.
The new Janus 125 is equipped with a 4.2 liter fuel tank, a 15.3 liter trunk (1.1 liter increase compared to the old version) that can hold a full-face helmet and some other items.
The all-new Yamaha Janus 125 has been comprehensively upgraded from design to features. With a sharp, modern design with a streamlined body, smooth operation and a Bluecore engine, the new Janus has a fuel consumption of only 1.88 liters/100km.
Comes with FI electronic fuel injection system and CVT gearbox. The vehicle has an output capacity of 9.5 horsepower at 8,000 rpm; Maximum torque reaches 9.6 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Yamaha Janus is equipped with safety with front disc brakes and rear regular brakes. Moreover, we can move with peace of mind with a pair of 14-inch cast rims combined with a pair of sturdy tires.
A special feature of the Janus 125 scooter is the temporary engine shutdown system SSS, which has the function of turning off the engine after 5 seconds of stopping the vehicle, helping to save more fuel.
