Table tennis tournament to celebrate International Children's Day on June 1st.

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate International Children's Day on June 1st, the Nghe An Table Tennis Club organized the 2016 Nghe An Provincial Youth and Children's Table Tennis Tournament on May 28th and 29th.

This year's youth table tennis tournament attracted over 70 athletes from table tennis clubs in districts, towns, and cities throughout the province. The tournament featured four categories: girls' singles (children); boys' singles (children); girls' singles (12-13 years old); and boys' singles (12-13 years old).

Over the two days of competition, the athletes showcased their professional-level table tennis skills; the tournament was organized to help athletes learn and exchange experiences with other table tennis clubs.

First prize awarded to the clubs.

At the end of the tournament, in the girls' singles category for juniors: First place went to athlete Na (Vinh City); second place to athlete Anh (Dien Chau); and third place to athlete Thuy (Vinh City).

In the boys' singles category: First place went to athlete Dung (Vinh City); second place went to athlete Triet (Vinh City); and third place went to athlete Bang (Yen Thanh).

In the girls' singles category for 12-13 year olds, first place went to athlete Van Anh (Vinh City); second place went to athlete Thuy (Con Cuong); and third place went to athlete Quynh (Con Cuong).

In the boys' singles category for 12-13 year olds, first place went to athlete Bui Huy (Quynh Luu); second place went to athlete Duc (Con Cuong); and third place went to athlete Cong (Dien Chau).
