Then, on May 9, the group continued to use fake documents to rent another house in Tan Phu Thanh residential area (Chau Thanh A district, Hau Giang province) and then contacted Mr. C. to come and make an interior decoration contract.

At 3:00 p.m. on May 10, when Mr. C. arrived at the rented house in Hau Giang province, they used pepper spray to control him, took all his belongings, and put the victim in a car to take him back to the rented house in Vinh Long province.
