Rescuing a 15-year-old girl trafficked into prostitution in Quynh Luu.

On May 22nd, the Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police received a letter of gratitude from the family of the young woman who had just been rescued from a prostitution ring.

Ms. LTB from Quang Xuong district sent a letter of thanks to the officers of the Criminal Fugitive Apprehension Department (Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) and the Quang Xuong District Police for finding her niece, MTS, 15 years old (a disabled person, a 9th-grade student) who had been lured into prostitution by criminals.

According to Mrs. B's thank-you letter: On May 4, 2017, her daughter, MTS, left home and her whereabouts were unknown. The family and local authorities searched everywhere but could not find her, so they reported it to the police.

After receiving a report from Mrs. B.'s family, officers from the Criminal Fugitive Apprehension Department of the Provincial Police and the Quang Xuong District Police coordinated and quickly investigated, verified, and tracked down S.

On May 10, 2017, the police discovered that S. was being forced into prostitution at a brothel in Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province. The Thanh Hoa police, in coordination with the Nghe An police, arrested the individuals who had lured and forced S. into prostitution and rescued her, safely returning her to her family.

The case is currently under further investigation to ensure that the individuals involved are dealt with strictly according to the law.
