Rescuing a 15-year-old girl who was tricked and sold into prostitution in Quynh Luu

On May 22, the Director of Thanh Hoa Police received a thank you letter from the family of a young woman who had just been freed from a prostitution den.

Ms. LTB of Quang Xuong district sent a letter of thanks to the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (Thanh Hoa Police) and Quang Xuong District Police for finding MTS, 15 years old (a disabled person, a 9th grade student) who was lured and tricked into prostitution by a bad guy.

According to Mrs. B's thank you letter: On May 4, 2017, her daughter MTS ran away from home and her whereabouts are unknown. Her family and local authorities searched everywhere but could not find her, so they reported it to the police.

After receiving the report from Ms. B's family, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Provincial Police and the Quang Xuong District Police coordinated to quickly investigate, verify and search for S.

On May 10, 2017, the police discovered S. being forced into prostitution at a brothel in Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province. Thanh Hoa police coordinated with Nghe An police to arrest the subjects who lured and forced S. into prostitution and rescued her, bringing her back to her family safely.

The case is currently under investigation to clarify and strictly handle the subjects before the law./.
