On the afternoon of December 15th, the Nghe An Department of Health held a ceremony to announce the Provincial People's Committee's decision to appoint a Deputy Director of the Department of Health.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee:Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department;Ngoc Kim Nam – Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Ho Le Ngoc – Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department;Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Chairperson of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Nam Dinh – Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc;Comrades: Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Cao Thi Hien – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the National Assembly Delegation, leaders of departments, agencies, localities and health units in the province.
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Dinh Ly, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, announced Decision No. 4338 QD-UBND dated December 2, 2020, of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.appointThe position of Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Health is given to Comrade Nguyen Huu Le – DirectorEye HospitalNghe An.
In his remarks assigning the new duties, Mr. Bui Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, congratulated Mr. Nguyen Huu Le. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated: Mr. Nguyen Huu Le is a young doctor with thorough training, fluent in foreign languages, experienced in management, and has achieved many accomplishments in his work.

In the coming period, Nghe An province aims to achieve a dual objective: both preventing and controlling the epidemic and developing the economy. This goal further emphasizes the heavy responsibility of the health sector and provides an opportunity for the new Deputy Director of the Department of Health to demonstrate his capabilities and advise the sector on epidemic prevention and control.

Comrade Bui Dinh Long also acknowledged the great contributions of former leaders of the Department, including Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hong - former Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Health (who recently retired); and expressed his hope that Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hong would continue to make contributions and work alongside the health sector in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

From 1997 to 1999: Worked at the Nghe An Eye Clinic.
From 1999 to 2003: Worked at the Ophthalmology Department, Nghe An Provincial Friendship General Hospital.
2003: Graduated with a Master's degree in Ophthalmology from Hanoi Medical University.
2006: Graduated with a Master's degree in Public Health from the United Kingdom.
From 2003-2012: Served as Director of the Nghe An Eye Center.
From 2012 to November 2020: Served as Director of Nghe An Eye Hospital.
December 2nd, 2020: Appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Health by the Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 4338/QD-UBND.
