Director of National Children's Hospital dies suddenly.
Professor and doctor Le Thanh Hai, Director of the National Children's Hospital, was found dead in his office on the afternoon of January 31st.
At approximately 4 PM on January 31st, hospital staff discovered Mr. Hai had passed away in his office. He had gone out for lunch with colleagues earlier that day and showed no signs of unusual behavior.
The police are investigating the cause.deathMr. Hai has a history of high blood pressure, but no other significant underlying medical conditions.
Professor Hai, born in 1961 in Thua Thien - Hue province, has served as Director of the National Children's Hospital since 2018 and is also the Director of the Institute for Child Health Research.
