The Director of Nghe An Provincial Police has been recognized with the title of Associate Professor.

(Baonghean.vn) - Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, has been recognized as an Associate Professor specializing in Security Science.

The Chairman of the State Council for Professor Titles has just signed a decision recognizing the attainment of professor and associate professor titles in 2016. In this round, Nghe An province has 3 people who meet the standards for professor titles and 46 people who meet the standards for associate professor titles.

Three individuals qualified for the professorship title are Mr. Nguyen Ba Dien (born in 1956 in Yen Thanh district), working at Hanoi National University; Mr. Ngo Xuan Binh (born in 1965 in Vinh City), working at the Office of National Science and Technology Programs, Ministry of Science and Technology; and Mr. Tran Dinh Thang (born in 1975 in Thanh Chuong), working at Vinh University. Mr. Tran Dinh Thang is also the youngest person to meet the professorship criteria in 2016.

In addition, among the 638 people qualified for the title of associate professor, 46 are from Nghe An province and are currently working at various universities and research institutions nationwide. The youngest among them is Ms. Bui Thanh Hoa (born in 1981 in Do Luong district), currently working at Tay Bac University.

The list of those qualified for the associate professor title is most concentrated in Yen Thanh district. This is followed by Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau districts, and Vinh City. Currently, the vast majority are working at universities such as the National Economics University, Hanoi Medical University, Vinh University, etc. In addition, some work in the police and healthcare sectors.
