Provincial Police Director attends National Great Unity Day in Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, on November 13, Major General Pham The Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department attended and shared the joy of the National Great Unity Day with the people of Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune (Ky Son).

Also attending were Comrade Vi Hoe - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Comrade Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; along with representatives of the leaders of the functional departments of the Provincial Police; Leaders of the People's Committee, the District Fatherland Front Committee, the District Police and a large number of people from Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune.

Joining in the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the National Great Unity Day, the delegates and people of Pieng Pho, Pha Danh commune together reviewed the glorious tradition in 93 years of building, developing and growing of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. At the same time, they looked back at the results of implementing the campaigns and movements "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized villages" in the locality.

Pieng Pho village has 73 households with 294 people; there are 4 ethnic groups: Thai, Kinh, Mong, Kho Mu living together. In the past time, under the leadership of the Party cell, the gathering of the Front Working Committee, cadres and people in the village have always complied with the Party's policies and the State's laws; together developed the economy, built a cultural life, and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements.

In 2023, the average total income per capita will be about 18 million VND/person. All children will go to school, no child will drop out of school; backward customs and practices will be eliminated, and national cultural identity will be preserved. Security and order in the village will be maintained, family and village conflicts will be promptly resolved, and solidarity among the people in the village will be constantly strengthened and consolidated.

With the pioneering role, the Village Front Committee launched many effective movements such as the hunger eradication and poverty reduction movement, the movement to build a "Fund for the poor", coordinated with other departments and organizations to do well in the movement to denounce and detect crimes, rehabilitate and educate people who have made mistakes to return to the community, fight against opium replanting, illegal proselytizing, illegal migration, etc., which received the sympathy and support of the majority of people.

Speaking at the festival, Major General Pham The Tung, Director of the Provincial Police Department, expressed his impression of the unique cultural features and the warm, harmonious, and united atmosphere of the people participating in the festival. At the same time, Major General Pham The Tung acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements in many fields of the cadres and people of Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune.

The Provincial Police Director also requested that the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels continue to further promote their role in gathering the strength of national solidarity, acting as a "bridge" of trust between the people and Party committees and authorities at all levels to strongly promote the cause of socio-economic construction and development, improve people's lives, and leave no one behind.

The Party Committee and authorities at all levels of Ky Son district regularly pay attention to leading, directing and further consolidating the great national unity bloc; effectively implementing propaganda and mobilization work, consolidating and expanding the great unity bloc among ethnic groups, maintaining security and order in the area; innovating and building models and typical examples in all areas of social life, economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, etc.

In particular, each citizen must constantly strive, enthusiastically work in production, innovate, rise up from poverty and enrich themselves legitimately; maintain faith in the leadership of the Party and the State, not allowing hostile forces and bad guys to take advantage of, incite, entice, and incite sabotage, causing political insecurity and social order and safety. Promote and preserve traditions and cultural lifestyles, well implement the criteria for building cultural families, cultural villages, and civilized lifestyles, together build developed communities, from developed communities will create developed societies and developed countries.

On this occasion, the Provincial Police Director presented 30 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND, 10 kg of rice) to poor households and households with special difficulties; presented 10 gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to 10 households with difficult circumstances in the area.
