According to Pham Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, in the early morning of July 23, the floodwaters flowing into the Ban Ve hydroelectric reservoir peaked at 12,800 m3/s, an unprecedented level, three times higher than the 2018 flood.
