On February 4th, Mr. Quang Duc Thanh, Head of the Thong Thu Commune Police, stated that a house fire occurred in Thong Thu commune on the 4th day of Tet (Lunar New Year).

Accordingly, at 10 PM on January 31st (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), Ngan Van Hang (born in 1998), residing in Hiep Phong village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An province), set fire to his family's house.

The initial cause was determined to be a conflict between Hang and his parents after drinking alcohol. In a fit of anger, fueled by alcohol, Hang lost control of his actions, leading to the unfortunate incident.

The fire completely destroyed all the property of Mr. Ngan Van Binh's family (Hang's father).

It is known that Mr. Ngan Van Binh's family is a poor household. Immediately after the fire, the commune and village authorities came to offer encouragement and support. Many villagers came to help his family rebuild a temporary house to live in.

Earlier, on the first day of the Lunar New Year, in Que Phong district, the house of Mr. Vi Van Ly's family, residing in Nam Xai village, also caught fire.
