On February 4, Mr. Quang Duc Thanh, Chief of Thong Thu Commune Police, said that recently a house fire broke out in Thong Thu Commune on the 4th day of Tet.

Accordingly, at 10:00 p.m. on January 31 (the 4th day of Tet), Mr. Ngan Van Hang (born in 1998), residing in Hiep Phong village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An) set fire to his family's house.

The initial cause was determined to be that after drinking alcohol, Hang and his parents had a conflict. In a moment of anger, with alcohol in his system, Hang could not control his actions, leading to the unfortunate incident mentioned above.

The fire burned down all the property of Mr. Ngan Van Binh's family (Hang's father).

It is known that Mr. Ngan Van Binh's family is poor. Immediately after the fire, the commune and village authorities came to encourage and visit. Many villagers came to help his family rebuild a temporary house to live in.
