(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 3, charitable organizations and individuals directly brought relief goods to flood victims in Son Ha and Hoa Son villages, Ta Ca commune (Ky Son). However, to reach the people, the relief teams had to work very hard, because they had to wade through deep, fast-flowing muddy water.

On the afternoon of October 3, relief shipments from various places arrived in Muong Xen town. However, because the main road of Muong Xen town was not yet open, the relief vehicles had to stop outside, about 1 km away from the flooded area. |
 |
The area affected by the flood is still very messy. |
 |
Because the entrance to the flash flood center of Hoa Son and Son Ha villages still requires wading through water and mud, which is quite dangerous, the relief team can only carry one small bag of goods per person. In the photo: Police forces deliver supplies to people in the flooded area. |

The roads to help flood victims are all deep flooded roads like this. |
 |
The flood water was flowing rapidly, along with rocks, broken tree branches... so the journey to transport relief supplies was very difficult and potentially dangerous. |
 |
Many sections of the road are littered with fallen trees and rocks, making it difficult to travel. |
 |
The water in this section of the stream is too deep, so authorities had to build a temporary bridge to cross and make efforts to transport relief goods to the people. |

Relief forces have to overcome difficult terrain like this. |

On the afternoon of October 3, the first bags of relief goods arrived at the gathering point in Son Ha village. |

According to Mr. Vi Hoe - Secretary of Ky Son District Party Committee, on the afternoon of October 3, relief teams began to reach people in flooded areas. However, the district has not yet received specific information about the number of teams and goods. According to Mr. Vi Hoe, in the immediate future, people need instant food and drinking water, followed by rice and other food and provisions. |

By the afternoon of October 3, although the water level had receded, the roads in the center of Muong Xen town were still littered with soil, rocks and trees; no vehicles could pass. In addition, the road from Muong Xen town to Tay Son commune was also cut off due to many landslides. |
