After living together for some time, a conflict arose between Ms. D and Ms. Nua because Ms. D discovered that Ms. D had sold all the gold Ms. Nua had entrusted to her and squandered it all on gambling and partying, so Ms. Nua conceived the idea of revenge.

Around 1 PM on April 16th, while Ms. D was at the hair salon, Nua ran to her younger brother's rented room to borrow a motorbike with license plate 60Y6-5982, pretending to go to the market, then returned to the room, grabbed her lover's daughter, and fled. When Ms. D returned home and couldn't find her daughter, she reported the incident to the police.

After more than a month of investigation, on May 19th, detectives from Team 2 of the PC 45 Department discovered that Nua was working as a laborer at a fishmeal factory in La Gi town, Binh Thuan province, and coordinated with the Can Gio District Police to arrest him on the spot.

At the police station, Nua confessed to her actions and stated that after taking the child, she sold her to a man from Can Tho, temporarily residing in Hoc Mon district, to be adopted, for 3 million VND. Nua's purpose in selling the child was to make Ms. D "experience the pain" of losing her child. Regarding Ms. D's sister's motorbike, Nua sold it for 1.5 million VND.

Shortly afterward, authorities located the man who bought the child and brought her back safely. It was then that the couple learned that Nữa had kidnapped children to sell them.

The incident is currently under further investigation.
