(Baonghean.vn) - At the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested that media agencies pay attention to publicizing activities related to the management, protection, and promotion of historical and cultural values in the province.
On the afternoon of March 4th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the March 2024 Press Briefing Conference.
Attending the conference was Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee.
In January and February 2024, the press reported on the visits and working activities of central leaders in Nghe An; the activities of provincial leaders; and the key contents of the regular meetings of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, which were promptly and fully updated by the press and media.
The Lunar New Year publications of various media outlets focused on reflecting the enthusiastic and fresh atmosphere, the belief in the country and homeland's steady progress on the path of innovation, integration, development, prosperity, and well-being. The articles and programs were meticulously crafted in both content and form, possessing profound ideological depth and strong directional guidance.
The press agencies published numerous news articles and images about the 2024 military conscription ceremony in the province; acknowledging that the organization was meticulously directed by Party committees and authorities at all levels, ensuring it was thorough, thoughtful, solemn, quick, efficient, and highly educational.
In the socio-economic field, the press has published numerous articles and programs with diverse perspectives, providing in-depth and comprehensive assessments of achievements; and has prominently featured positive information in the fields of culture and arts, as well as cultural activities and spring festivals.
In addition, several news agencies and social media sites have reported on the suspected embezzlement of donation money at the Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen).
Regarding future propaganda orientation, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, requested that media agencies pay special attention to and promote the dissemination of information on the implementation of Action Program No. 68 dated November 11, 2023, on the implementation of Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated July 18, 2023, of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045; and strengthen information and propaganda to highlight the results and achievements attained in all fields during the three years of implementing the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
Propaganda efforts aim to create consensus among officials and the public regarding the administrative unit reorganization plan; the implementation and submission to competent authorities of the plan to expand the administrative boundaries and urban space of Vinh City. Strengthen propaganda on Party building and the construction of the political system in 2024; actively promote the potential and advantages; promote cultural heritage, scenic spots, culinary culture, and practical experiences of Nghe An associated with tourism and festivals to attract domestic and international tourists.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that media agencies pay attention to publicizing the management, protection, and promotion of the cultural and historical values of historical relics in the province; and at the same time, ensure that festival activities are conducted in a civilized, safe manner, in accordance with traditional customs and practices, and meet the cultural needs of the people.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that media agencies focus on publicizing activities commemorating the 76th anniversary of the People's Police studying and implementing the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, and the Nghe An Police receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
