Parishioners of Bao Thanh donate 2,000 m2 for new rural development.
(Baonghean.vn) - Catholic parishioners in Bao Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province) donated 2,000 square meters of land.2Land is being used to build roads and contribute to the development of new rural areas.

Upholding the spirit of solidarity, the people in the commune actively compete in labor and production, transforming the structure of crops and livestock, and applying scientific and technological advancements. In recent years, the parishioners in the commune have built 22 highly effective economic development models.
In particular, as part of the "joint effort to build new rural areas" initiative, parishioners from various parishes have voluntarily donated over 2,000 square meters of land.2Land was cleared, and many kiosks, houses, and boundary walls were demolished to make way for roads. To date, the roads have been largely paved with concrete, notably 1.6 km by Bao Nham parish and 0.4 km by Tan Phong parish. In addition, parishioners actively contributed to charity, helping hundreds of poor people; the percentage of culturally exemplary families in the parishes reached 80-81%.
