Schools are educational environments, so they need to have beautiful words and actions.

To prevent this situation from recurring, I believe the school environment needs to be healthy and friendly between teachers and students. Building a friendly school is everyone's responsibility and requires the contributions of both teachers and students. Students must be polite and sociable with their teachers and classmates; teachers must be exemplary in providing students with the best possible experience at school. Since starting school, we have studied Ethics and Civics, learning about how to behave towards teachers and classmates. Equipped with this knowledge, we will strive to create a healthier learning environment.

ViolenceschoolThis is a pressing social issue and one of the top priorities for schools. If we simply cram students with knowledge but they lack ethics and skills, education will not achieve the desired results.

Under any circumstances, moral education must be prioritized, following the principle of "First learn manners, then learn knowledge." At our school, moral education is considered a regular task with many strong measures. This includes providing students with skills and engaging them in experiential activities to explore themselves.

In addition, the school, along with homeroom teachers and the Head of the Youth Union, works to equip students with essential life skills, including how to interact with family, teachers, and friends. Following unfortunate incidents on social media, the school's education of students has become even more rigorous, paying close attention to every action, gesture, and lesson to prevent similar unfortunate events from happening again.

In fact, every profession has its pressures these days, but the teaching profession has its own unique challenges. At this age, especially with middle school students, their psychology and physiology are constantly changing. Therefore, teachers need to be extremely flexible in educating their students, sometimes through love and gentleness, but other times through discipline, treating students as friends or children so that they can naturally receive their education.

We understand that society and parents want schools and teachers to be a place where they can entrust their children, a place where they feel most secure. However, in the new context and circumstances, especially in the era of information technology and social media, the educational environment has also changed and is no longer as simple as before. Therefore, we teachers hope that society will view us positively, and that we will share and cooperate with teachers to build a positive and friendly educational environment.

As a teacher myself, I deeply sympathize with the situation that unfolded after the incident at a junior high school in Tuyen Quang province and other similar incidents. Seeing these images makes us very sad.

Indeed, as information technology develops and penetrates the educational environment, students' voices and personalities are more clearly expressed. Their individuality and differences need to be respected, but behind this, there are many things that schools and teachers are also very concerned about.

In fact, after what just happened, I, as a teacher, have had to re-evaluate myself. I think that in every incident, the first thing we need to consider is the role of the teacher. Students are our children, our younger siblings, under our guidance and instruction. In this case, the intended outcome backfired.

To avoid similar situations, in my opinion, the first solution is that we teachers need to be more understanding, our methods more refined, and we must know how to protect our image to avoid conflicts with young students, preventing them from engaging in inappropriate behavior, and thus avoiding negative public opinion within the school.

Moral education should be the first lesson children learn when they go to school. In an educational environment, learning manners comes first, followed by learning knowledge; in other words, becoming a good person is the next step towards becoming a talented one. To achieve this, teachers must be equipped with good pedagogical skills to cultivate the character of a modern generation of students. Teachers themselves must dedicate all their efforts and feelings to understanding the issues and educating their students. The care and guidance of parents are crucial. A harmonious combination of family, school, and society will lead to a more complete and fulfilling educational environment.

In recent days, public opinion, social media, and the press have discussed the issue of protecting education. But in my opinion, there is no stronger protection than protection from both sides, protection from within: teachers loving their students and students trusting their teachers. If teachers receive the respect of their students in the true spirit of "respecting teachers and valuing education," then what need is there for protection? Over the years, I have always told my students, "Do you see me as your teacher or as a mother? If I am your teacher, I will do my duty. If I am a mother, I will teach you with love. Everywhere, what you give will be returned in kind, and if teachers love their students, they will receive respect and appreciation in return."

Recently, the Vietnam Education Union signed a document sent to the Education Unions of provinces and cities regarding strengthening measures to protect teachers and workers in schools.

Specifically, it requires units and schools to strengthen measures to educate students, enforce school discipline and order; and strictly implement the motto "Teachers act like teachers - Students act like students" in schools.

The Vietnam Education Union also directed school unions to review information, identify emerging issues, and promptly intervene, resolve, and rectify them to prevent violations of teacher ethics regulations and disciplinary violations by students. This is especially important for issues related to school management and administration.

Provincial and city education unions need to direct and coordinate with district and county labor federations to instruct school unions in their areas to take measures to protect the honor, dignity, and lives of teachers and workers.
