Football match to raise funds to help those in need.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 17th, Khanh Son commune (Nam Dan district) organized a charity football match to raise funds to help families in difficult circumstances in the area.
The family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhan in Hamlet 11, Khanh Son Commune, is facing extremely difficult circumstances. Her husband passed away early, and both of her children, Phung Van Dong (36 years old) and Phung Thi Thuy (38 years old), suffer from mental illness. The house where Ms. Nhan and her children live is dilapidated, and they lack the money to repair it.
To share the difficulties faced by Mrs. Nhan's family, local organizations and volunteer groups in Khanh Son commune organized a charity football match at Ru Bui stadium to raise funds for her family.
The friendly match between FC Khánh Sơn and Hamlet 11 received enthusiastic support from local residents and many generous donors. At the end of the match, the organizers raised over 20 million VND. This money was handed over to Mrs. Nhân's family right at the stadium.
