(Baonghean.vn) – On the evening of October 18th, the People's Committee of Vinh City, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, organized an exchange between folk song clubs of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

The cultural exchange night is an opportunity for clubs to meet and exchange experiences in organizing activities; at the same time, it honors clubs and artisans to promote the Nghệ Tĩnh folk singing movement among all strata of people, organizations, schools, etc.

Three clubs participated in the exchange night: Hung Tan Club (Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province), Pho Chau town Club (Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province), and Ky Trinh Club (Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province).

During the exchange night, the clubs performed the same folk songs they had performed at the 2016 Nghe Tinh Folk Song Festival. These were unique, captivating performances of high artistic value, leaving a deep and lasting impression on every viewer.

The exchange program between folk song clubs of the Ví and Giặm genres from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces aims to contribute to the flourishing and spread of Ví and Giặm folk songs within the community. On the evening of October 18th, the exchange was also organized by Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, in Nghi Xuan town, with the participation of three clubs.
