Teachers in the mountainous region of Nghe An "turn" scrap into eye-catching toys for children

In order to best prepare for the new school year 2024 - 2025, along with cleaning and tidying up the classrooms, teachers of Hoa Binh Kindergarten (Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district) have worked together to make unique and eye-catching toys, tools and teaching equipment from used scrap materials.

These days, along with cleaning the environment inside and outside the classroom, arranging tables and chairs, reinforcing facilities, decorating with trees to create a green - clean - beautiful environment, teachers at Hoa Binh Kindergarten (Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district) also organize the making of toys, tools, and teaching equipment from used materials. Accordingly, the school has contacted agencies and school units in the area to request used materials such as wood, tires, steel, plastic pipes... to make utensils, toys, and learning tools for children. Photo: Dinh Tuan

Mr. Lu Ngoc Toan, security guard at Hoa Binh Kindergarten, shared: “My main duty is to protect the school, but I found this activity meaningful so I volunteered to participate. Many sets of educational and highly aesthetic toys and tools, suitable for the psychological characteristics of preschool children, have been created by the skillful hands and rich imagination of teachers.
