Cua Lo Parish organizes a rotating week of adoration.

(Baonghean.vn) - Cua Lo Parish held a Mass as the culminating event of the annual parish adoration on May 12th. This also marked the beginning of the parish's second centenary adoration week.

The ceremony was attended by Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long of the Vinh Diocese, along with numerous invited priests and a large number of parishioners from within and outside Cua Lo Parish.

The Mass commenced earlier on the morning of May 10th and continued for three days. Through the sacraments, rites, and homilies, the parish reiterated the importance of the week of adoration; calling on the parishioners to participate in the Mass with solemnity and reverence.

Cua Lo Parish, belonging to the Cua Lo Deanery, was established on May 28, 2013, with two sub-parishes (Mai Linh and Yen Trach), and over 2,500 parishioners, under the parish priest of Father Fx. Dinh Van Quynh. The parishioners in the area mainly work in fishing, trading seafood, supporting the fishing industry, and providing services. Particularly, with its central location in the coastal town of Cua Lo, the Cua Lo Parish Church, with its spacious and beautiful architecture, is an additional healthy spiritual tourism destination, meeting the growing religious needs of visitors whenever they have the opportunity to visit this area.
