Discovering her husband having an affair through a hidden camera, My Anh (Phuong Oanh) directly confronted Linh (Lan Phuong) in a calm but sharp confrontation.
In episode 39 of the film Wind Across the Blue Sky, after having premonitions and suspicions about the relationship between her husband Dang and Linh (Lan Phuong), My Anh (Phuong Oanh) secretly took action to find out the truth. She installed a camera in the living room and proactively created opportunities for Dang and Linh to meet at her home.
The images recorded by the camera confirmed all of My Anh's suspicions, when she witnessed Linh hugging and kissing her husband. Despite being in great pain, My Anh still kept her composure to solve the problem directly.
Face-to-face confrontation and undeniable evidence
Not making a big deal out of it, My Anh went to Linh's house alone to talk. She showed the images from the camera and asked Linh to explain. "I give you 5 minutes to explain," My Anh said firmly.
Faced with clear evidence, Linh realized that she had fallen into My Anh's scheme. In response, My Anh questioned: "What do you mean by arranging? Arranging for you to meet my husband to chat and confide. Or is it about what happened in Quang Ninh... Or is it about you sleeping with my husband?".
My Anh affirmed her bravery as a wife, emphasizing that Linh would never be able to replace her position. "Men are very smart, they know where to stop, the rest are just picking flowers on the side of the road," she said. My Anh also expressed pity for Linh and warned: "Smart and brave women, they will choose to build their own home, not ask to live in the happiness of others."
Blame attempts and fabrications
With nothing left to explain, Linh turned to blame Dang, saying that "one hand does not make a clapping sound." Linh made up a story that it was Dang who initiated the flirting with her in Quang Ninh, wanted her to be his "private secret" and was the one who told her to move closer to him to make the relationship more convenient.
Linh also said that Dang always felt tired and oppressed in his marriage with My Anh and always wanted to escape. These words deeply hurt My Anh, but she still tried to suppress her emotions and left.
Background to the incident
Before that, My Anh's suspicions stemmed from Ngan's (Viet Hoa) warning and suspicious details such as the strange shirt in Dang's suitcase or the signature in the seafood box. These were the things that urged her to find the truth.
After the confrontation, despite the great shock, My Anh still acted normal in front of her husband. As for Dang, he always felt regretful and guilty since starting his relationship with Linh.
