Wind Across the Blue Sky, Episode 40: My Anh decides to divorce.
After the shock of witnessing her husband visiting his mistress, My Anh took off her wedding ring and decided to divorce, ending her marriage in pain and despair.
In episode 40 of the drama "Wind Across the Blue Sky," the marriage of My Anh (Phuong Oanh) and Dang (Doan Quoc Dam) comes to an end after My Anh decides to divorce due to the shock of infidelity.
The bitter test and the downfall.
The conflict escalated when Linh (Lan Phuong) texted Dang to come to her apartment, deliberately setting up a "test" for My Anh to witness. Despite her confidence, My Anh completely collapsed when she saw Dang actually appear at Linh's doorstep.
For My Anh, Dang's presence was undeniable proof of his betrayal. Overwhelmed with anger and resentment, she slapped Dang and left in pain. As for Dang, he went to see Linh with the intention of ending things, but this action inadvertently destroyed his family.
Tears and belated regrets
My Anh wandered around in the rain and collapsed from exhaustion before passersby helped her and called Lam (Quynh Kool) and Ngan (Viet Hoa) to take her home. This was the second time in her life Lam had seen her sister so distraught; the first time was when their mother passed away.
Meanwhile, Dang, unable to find his wife, wept in helplessness and blamed himself. He went to his father-in-law's house and Lam's house but couldn't find My Anh. His remorse intensified as he recalled the reproachful words he had spoken to his wife earlier.
The final decision and the support of family ties.
At Lam's house, even though she heard Dang knocking on the door, My Anh refused to see him. She silently took off her wedding ring, officially putting an end to her marriage. The next morning, My Anh had a high fever and was lovingly cared for by Lam and Ngan.
Her two younger siblings arranged their schedules so My Anh could have time to rest. In their comforting embrace, My Anh sobbed, admitting her mistake in trying too hard to shoulder the burden of the family. What she feared most at this moment was not knowing how to face and explain her decision to divorce to her son and father.
