Western analysts: Kursk will change the course of the Ukraine conflict.
Western analysts believe that the Kursk conflict zone will change the course of the Ukrainian conflict, and the opportunity to find peace through negotiations has ended.

According to RIA Novosti on August 19, commenting on the Ukrainian armed forces' invasion of the Kursk region of Russia, Irish journalist Chey Bowes stated that the consequences of this would change the entire course of the Ukrainian conflict, but not in Kyiv's favor.
“Kursk will change the course of the war. The Ukrainian armed forces will deplete their vital reserves, and Russia’s attitude toward Ukraine will only become tougher. This will also exacerbate Kyiv’s ability to defend itself in the East, where Russian attacks are increasing,” journalist Chey Bowes said.
Former Pentagon adviser, Colonel Douglas McGregor, stated in an interview that, following the Ukrainian armed forces' invasion of the Kursk region, the chances of finding peace through negotiations have significantly diminished.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that there will be no negotiations with Kyiv. Therefore, if at this stage there was any possibility of resolving the issues between Russia and Ukraine through negotiations, now, after the events in Kursk, that opportunity has ended,” Colonel McGregor said.
According to a former Pentagon adviser, the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces have put Kyiv in danger and could deal a fatal blow to President Zelensky's administration.
