Keep the border peaceful, celebrate Independence Day with the people

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Vien - Head of Muong Ai Border Guard Station said that the unit manages and protects more than 51 km of border, 9 national border markers; 5 pairs of markers; manages the area of Muong Tip commune including 15 villages with more than 6,400 people. People in the highland communes of Nghe An have a tradition of organizing activities to celebrate Independence Day every time the country celebrates National Day September 2. On this occasion, the unit strictly maintains combat readiness; organizes closed patrols of the border and border markers; deploys to monitor and grasp the situation of the area so that people can celebrate the major national holidays in peace and joy.
