According to the collective review report of the Party Committee of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, in the past period, the Party Committee has focused on leading and implementing well all aspects of border guard work, with a particular emphasis on monitoring and assessing the situation at sea and in the area.

Besides, DThe Party Committee of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station proactively advises and proposes to the Party Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the departments and agencies of the two localities of Cua Lo town and Nghi Loc district to formulate policies and strategies to ensure the maintenance of sovereignty and security of the maritime border, and to effectively handle situations occurring in the assigned sea area.

The unit also led the implementation of effective plans to combat various types of crime, especially drug-related crimes and the trafficking and use of explosives; handled numerous administrative violations, contributing hundreds of millions of dong to the state treasury; led the effective management of border gates and seaports; and actively participated in building the grassroots political system and developing socio-economic conditions to help people alleviate poverty.

In a spirit of frankness, democracy, and collective and individual review, the Party Committee of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station seriously conducted self-criticism and criticism in accordance with the spirit of Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress), focusing on analyzing and clarifying the strengths and weaknesses in leadership in carrying out political tasks associated with the implementation of Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress) on manifestations of ideological and political degradation; moral and lifestyle degradation; and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the organization.

Based on an analysis of causes, effects, and limitations, the Party Committee developed a program, plan, and specific solutions to overcome existing shortcomings and limitations, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks and ensuring the maintenance of sovereignty and security in the maritime region.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the achievements of the Cua Lo Port Border Guard Station in various fields, while also sharing the difficulties faced by the unit's officers and soldiers.

Agreeing with the solutions proposed by the Party Committee of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Border Guard Station, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son suggested that the unit focus on improving the quality of political education through Party branch meetings, thereby bringing the Party and State's guidelines and policies into practice.

The Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee requested the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station to effectively implement patrol and situational forecasting to avoid being caught off guard in any situation; to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the maritime region. At the same time, to improve the effectiveness of combating and preventing all types of crime.

One of the unit's important tasks is to do a good job of mass mobilization, understanding the grassroots level, building "the people's hearts and minds" to resolve pressing issues at the grassroots level, contributing to consolidating and building a strong grassroots political system.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee stated that: To build a comprehensively strong unit and ensure maritime sovereignty and security, the efforts of each individual, unit, and organization must be combined into a new, comprehensive strength. The key issue is that officers and soldiers must be strong in political ideology, capable of fulfilling their responsibilities and duties, and possess the strength of discipline and order.
