The Google Pixel Buds 2a have officially launched, featuring a compact design, active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and the Gemini AI assistant. They will go on sale starting October 9th for just $129.

The Google Pixel Buds 2a are designed to be smaller and lighter than previous A-series models, inspired by the Pixel Buds Pro 2. The earbuds feature an adjustable rotating headband and come with four sizes of ear tips to suit a wide range of users.
The device is IP54 water and sweat resistant, providing peace of mind during workouts or in the rain. Pixel Buds 2a comes in two colors, Iris and Hazel, perfectly matching other Pixel devices.

At the heart of the Google Pixel Buds 2a is the Tensor A1, a dedicated audio processing chip that brings active noise cancellation (ANC) with Silent Seal 1.5 to the A-series for the first time.
These headphones feature custom drivers and a high-frequency resonance chamber, delivering vibrant music and podcasts. The windscreen mesh and Google's AI significantly improve call quality.
The Google Pixel Buds 2a also boasts double the battery life of the first generation, offering 7 hours of continuous music playback with ANC on and up to 20 hours with the charging case. Notably, for the first time, the charging case features a replaceable battery to extend product lifespan.
AI Gemini: A smart assistant right in your ear.
The Google Pixel Buds 2a incorporate Gemini, enabling hands-free listening, asking, and working. From summarizing messages and suggesting coffee shops to using "Hey Google" voice commands, everything is within ear reach. Users can also customize the press-and-hold gesture to activate the assistant.
Seamless connection with Pixel phone
The headphones support Multipoint, allowing easy switching between multiple devices simultaneously, and Fast Pair for instant connection with Pixel phones.
The Find Hub feature helps you quickly locate your headphones, displaying their precise location on a map or playing an alert when they are nearby.
