Before H'Hen Nie left Saigon, her mother told her daughter not to buy anything for her family because she was afraid of spending too much. Her parents and siblings all wanted her to use her prize money after the coronation to do charity work. "The family is not well off, but life is not lacking in anything now. She has just been crowned Miss, so she has a lot of work to do. Later, if she goes to work and earns a lot of money, her parents will accept her help," her sister shared.

H'Hen Niê is happy that her family always supports her aspirations. "Many people think that being a beauty queen will make you rich, but the truth is that my life and my family's are still the same.
