H'Hen Niê: If I hadn't become Miss Vietnam, I probably would have had a fifth child.
"If I hadn't won the beauty pageant, I probably would have had my fourth or fifth child by now, because I love children very much," H'Hen Niê confided.
In recent years, H'Hen Niê has chosen to celebrate her birthday in a simple way, without taking commemorative photos. Remember back in 2023, the beauty queen celebrated her birthday with the goal of building five eco-friendly libraries. Touched by her dedication to the community, her team decided to prepare a special gift: a birthday photoshoot for the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 winner on her 32nd birthday.
Three days before her birthday, H'Hen Niê had a photoshoot for a new project. The team combined this occasion with preparing a birthday cake and setting for the photoshoot as a gift for the beauty queen born in 1992. Receiving the gift, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 was both surprised and happy. She quickly moved to the set, took a few photos to celebrate her new age, and then returned to her work.
H'Hen Niê shared: “Every year, the team asks me if I want to take birthday photos, but I always say no because celebrating my birthday with family and friends is enough. Therefore, I haven't had a photoshoot for the past few years. This year, the team prepared everything and planned everything so I would have birthday photos, which surprised and touched me deeply. I am grateful for everyone's love and care.”
Entering a new age, H'Hen Niê continues to carry out community projects on the environment, green living, and education. Through these, she hopes to spread and inspire positive living among young people. H'Hen Niê also focuses on sustainable and long-term projects. In 2024, H'Hen Niê planted 1 hectare of forest in Thanh Hoa, and plans to plant another 1 hectare at the end of May in Dong Nai. The beauty queen also plans to establish a child-friendly library, focusing attention on young children.
H'Hen Niê confided that being over 30 makes her feel a little pressured when people talk about her age. Speaking about her plans for the coming year, the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 winner revealed: “Last year I set a goal to build five eco-friendly libraries, but this year I haven't set any targets; I'll just do as many as I can.”
When asked about getting married, the Ede beauty confided: "I think it's hard to say for sure, because depending on the time, we will have different thoughts and decisions. When I have the intention to get married, I will definitely announce it so that the audience can share in the joy." H'Hen Niê added that her parents no longer bring up the topic of marriage, letting her decide for herself and respecting her choice.
H'Hen Niê revealed that winning Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 was an unforgettable milestone in her career, helping her gain recognition and love from many people. The 32-year-old beauty shared: “Back then, I thought that after finishing my studies, I would get a job and get married. If I hadn't won the beauty pageant, I probably would have had my 4th or 5th child by now, because I love children very much.”
