These 50 beauties were selected from 111 contestants across five beauty pageants: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Grand International, Miss Supranational, and Miss International. Two representatives from Vietnam are included in the top 50: H'Hen Niê (top 5 Miss Universe) and Trần Tiểu Vy (top 30 Miss World).

Besides H'Hen Niê and Tiểu Vy, the top 50 list also includes Catriona Gray (Philippines). She was crowned Miss Universe 2018, winning over a large audience with her physical beauty, catwalk skills, and confident demeanor. Catriona Gray is currently in the US fulfilling her reign as Miss Universe.
Miss World Vanessa Ponce De Leon (Mexico), Miss Grand International Clara Sosa (Paraguay), Miss International Mariem Velazco (Venezuela), and Miss Supranational Valeria Vázquez Latorre (Puerto Rico) are all on the list. After the top 50, Global Beauties' beauty experts continued to select the top 20, and finally, Miss Grand Slam (Miss of Misses).
Global Beauties is a beauty website established in 1998. Besides reporting on beauty pageants and male model competitions, the site also has a team of experts who predict results and organize annual polls. The Miss Grand Slam award is symbolic but provides an accurate assessment due to its meticulous scoring. Last year, Huyen My and My Linh from Vietnam made it to the top 64, while Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters – Miss Universe 2017 – won.
Besides the Global Beauties poll, the beauty website Missosology recently voted on "Timeless Beauty 2018". Surpassing winners from major beauty pageants, H'Hen Niê is currently leading the Top 10.
