Hanoi spends nearly 2 billion VND to pay 20 people for staff reduction

The Hanoi City People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the list and budget for streamlining the payroll (in 2015 and the first phase in 2016) of Hanoi City according to Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP, dated November 20, 2014, of the Government.

Accordingly, the Hanoi City People's Committee approved the list and budget of VND 1,846,504,000 to pay for 20 civil servants and public employees who were laid off due to staff reduction according to Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP, dated November 20, 2014, of the Government.

The funding source is taken from the 2016 salary reform source of the city budget of VND 1,839,949,000. The autonomous funding source assigned in Decision No. 6788/QD-UBND, dated December 10, 2015, of the City People's Committee and other legal funding sources of the unit is VND 6,555,000.

The City People's Committee assigns the People's Committees of the districts: Dong Da, Tay Ho, Hoan Kiem, Thuong Tin, Phuc Tho, Gia Lam, Me Linh, Soc Son to receive additional city budget funds and make payments to civil servants and public employees according to the regime and policies prescribed in Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP, dated November 20, 2014, of the Government; pay and settle expenses in accordance with State regulations.
