All cases of students violating traffic regulations are compiled into a list by the authorities and sent to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for coordinated corrective action. Schools and families are requested to take timely measures to manage and educate students, contributing to raising awareness of compliance with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety among students.

According to the Hanoi City Police Traffic Department, traffic violations by students are mainly concentrated in high schools and continuing education institutions. Some schools with a high number of violations include: My Dinh High School (43 cases); Ha Thanh High School (30 cases); Thuong Cat High School (27 cases); An Duong Vuong High School (31 cases); Phuc Tho High School (27 cases); Nguyen Van Troi High School (25 cases); Xuan Mai High School (21 cases); Dong Anh High School (20 cases); Hoai Duc B High School (27 cases); My Duc C High School (19 cases); Xuan Khanh High School (18 cases)...

Through monitoring and evaluation, the situation regarding traffic safety violations by students in the city has shown positive changes. Common behaviors such as driving motorcycles without meeting the necessary conditions; not wearing helmets; and carrying more passengers than allowed in school gate areas have decreased significantly. Parents' awareness of traffic safety laws when dropping off and picking up their children has also improved, contributing to ensuring the safety of students.

Along with increased patrols and enforcement of violations, from the beginning of 2026 to the present, the Traffic Police Department has coordinated with commune-level police to organize 98 sessions to disseminate information and provide guidance on safe motorcycle and electric scooter driving skills to 92,953 students at high schools and vocational education institutions in the area.

In the coming period, in order to further improve the effectiveness of implementing Directive No. 31 of the Prime Minister and the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee on ensuring traffic order and safety for students, the Hanoi City Police will continue to closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to promote the dissemination of traffic safety laws in schools.

At the same time, authorities will intensify patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations committed by students, in order to prevent traffic accidents and build a safe and civilized traffic environment for the younger generation of the capital city.
