Hanoi is almost certain to host the F1 race from 2019.
The corporation that owns F1 is in negotiations to hold additional races in Vietnam, Miami (USA), and Argentina starting in 2019.
According to the newspaperAuto Motor und SportGermany, Hanoi, and Miami are almost certain to host Formula 1 next year. Liberty Media, the owner of Formula 1, is preparing to reach an agreement with both cities. Meanwhile, Buenos Aires is seeking funding to upgrade its old racetrack. The last time Argentina hosted a Formula 1 race was in 1998.

A few years ago, former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone also expressed interest in opening another race track in Vietnam for the Grand Prix. "The contract we could sign with Vietnam is worth $64 million," he told reporters.ForbesA week ago, "Now Liberty Media can complete what we started, bringing F1 to the Vietnamese people."
The German newspaper also confirmed that the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the 6-kilometer racetrack project in Hanoi.ReutersIt was also suggested that Vietnam was very willing to host the race, in order to promote the country in Southeast Asia. The race in Vietnam is said to replace the Malaysia GP - which terminated its contract with F1 after the 2017 season.
The 2018 Formula 1 season will consist of 21 races, starting with the Australian Grand Prix on March 25th.
