Hanoi will almost certainly host the F1 race from 2019
The group that owns F1 is negotiating to organize more races in Vietnam, Miami (USA) and Argentina from 2019.
According to information from the newspaperAuto Motor and SportGermany, Hanoi and Miami are all but certain to host F1 next year. Liberty Media, which owns F1, is close to reaching an agreement with the two cities. Meanwhile, Buenos Aires is seeking funding to upgrade its old circuit. Argentina last hosted an F1 race in 1998.

A few years ago, former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone also expressed his desire to open another Vietnam GP track. "The contract we could sign with Vietnam is worth $64 million," he toldForbesa week ago. "Now Liberty Media can finish what we left unfinished, bringing F1 to the Vietnamese people."
The German newspaper also confirmed that the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the project of a 6km racetrack in Hanoi.Reutersalso said that Vietnam is very willing to organize the race, to promote the country in Southeast Asia. The race in Vietnam is said to replace the Malaysia GP - which terminated its contract with F1 after the 2017 season.
The 2018 F1 season includes 21 races, starting with the Australian GP on March 25.
