Fishing vessel worth 9.4 billion VND launched in Hoang Mai.
(Baonghean.vn) - The ship, worth 9.4 billion VND, which was recently launched, will set sail from January 2016, with its main fishing grounds being the Gulf of Tonkin and the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands.
On the morning of December 14th, Hoang Mai town, in coordination with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam, North Nghe An branch, organized the launching of a wooden-hulled fishing vessel in accordance with Decree 67.
The vessel NA99916, owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung from Quynh Lap commune, was constructed by Anh Hue shipyard starting in early March 2015. The total investment for the vessel was over 9.4 billion VND, of which nearly 6.3 billion VND was financed through loans under Decree 67, with the remainder contributed by shareholders.

This is the fourth wooden fishing vessel built for fishermen in Hoang Mai town under the support of Decree 67.
The NA99916 vessel has a power output of 822 HP with 4 engines and is equipped with the most modern radar, sonar, and navigation equipment.
Currently, the vessel is fully equipped with fishing gear and equipment; by early January 2016, it will depart to fish in the Gulf of Tonkin and participate in fishing activities in the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands fishing grounds.
Unlike fishing vessels built under Decree 67, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung's vessel uses purse seine nets for fishing.
