Two brothers died after a large explosion during the night.

Following a loud explosion in Phu Truc commune (Nam Dinh province), residents rushed to the scene and discovered that three people had died and one was seriously injured.

On the morning of April 14th, sources from the Nam Dinh Provincial Police said that authorities are investigating the explosion that killed three people in Truc Phu commune, Truc Ninh district.

According to a local official, the explosion occurred at 9 PM on April 13th at the home of Mr. Nguyen Van Thu (69 years old, Thanh Minh village, Truc Phu commune).

Hearing a loud explosion, neighbors rushed over and found three people dead on the spot, and another seriously injured.

That same night, the Nam Dinh Provincial Police, along with other relevant agencies, conducted a scene investigation and autopsy to clarify the circumstances of the case.

The identities of the three deceased victims have been confirmed as Nguyen Van Duy (31 years old, a nephew of Mr. Thu), and the two brothers Nguyen Van Tri (10 years old) and Nguyen Van Nam (5 years old, grandsons of Mr. Thu).

The injured person is the homeowner's son, Nguyen Van Thuy (father of Tri and Nam). He suffered serious leg injuries and was transferred to a higher-level hospital for treatment.

Based on the scene investigation, police believe the explosion involved explosive materials.
