These two secretaries were among the 'three key contacts' who had direct contact with South Korean President Park Geun-hye, along with presidential advisor Ho-seong.

Today (November 14), two former secretaries to South Korean President Park Geun-hye, Lee Jae-man and Ahn Bong-geun, were summoned by prosecutors on suspicion of involvement in the shocking political scandal involving Choi Soon-sil, a close friend of President Park Geun-hye.

These two former secretaries, who assisted Park for nearly two decades, have appeared at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office for questioning. They are among three individuals directly linked to President Park Geun-hye, along with presidential advisor Jeong Ho-seong, who was previously arrested on suspicion of involvement in the leak of confidential presidential documents to Choi.

In another development on the same day, President Park Geun-hye accepted an offer from opposition Democratic Party leader Choo Mi-ae to meet tomorrow (November 15).

This move is seen as a potential way to calm the scandal that has been rocking South Korean politics in recent days.
