The two former secretaries, who assisted Park for nearly two decades, appeared for questioning at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. They are among the “three contacts” with direct ties to President Park Geun-hye, along with presidential adviser Jeong Ho-seong, who was previously arrested on suspicion of leaking confidential documents from Park to Choi.
In another development on the same day, President Park Geun-hye accepted the proposal of opposition Democratic Party leader Choo Mi-ae to meet tomorrow (November 15).
This move is believed to be able to calm the scandal that has shaken Korean politics in recent days./.
