On the afternoon of August 12, in Thai Quang hamlet, Nghi Thai commune (Nghi Loc), two young men appeared on a motorbike using a rod to catch dogs. Immediately, the villagers shouted and chased after the subjects. After running for about 100 meters, the subjects met Le Van An, 18 years old, from Thai Cat hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, going in the opposite direction on his way home. Suspecting that An was the one who blocked them, the subjects used an iron stake to repeatedly hit the victim on the head and then ran away, causing him to fall into a ditch and become unconscious.
