Two children escaped death thanks to their mother throwing them out of the window of a burning apartment
Neighbors picked up two children using bed sheets from the fourth floor apartment, while the Chinese mother was unable to escape due to smoke inhalation.

Two brothers in Xuchang County, Henan Province, escaped death after their family's fourth-floor house caught fire on the morning of August 3, thanks to their mother throwing them out of the window with the last of her strength, Henan Provincial Television reported.
The two children, a 9-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, were picked up by neighbors using bed sheets underneath. However, the mother was found unconscious in the apartment. She died at the hospital.

According to witnesses, the mother, her son and daughter were trapped in the house when the fire broke out. Video taken by a passerby showed the mother initially throwing two bed sheets off the balcony for neighbors to use to catch her children.
The mother then threw her son and daughter out the window one by one. After catching the two children, the neighbors urged the mother to jump down, but the woman gradually passed out from inhaling the smoke,The Papersaid
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the mother in the apartment. The mother and her three children were then taken to the hospital at the same time.
The two children had no serious problems, the girl only needed a simple leg surgery, but the mother did not survive.
