Terrified tourists encounter ghosts in hotel.
A tourist received a truly unique souvenir during their stay at a famous haunted hotel in the United States.
Henry Yau, Director of Public Relations at the Houston Children's Museum, spent the weekend at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, with his wife. During this time, Yau took the opportunity to photograph the historically significant properties that inspired Stephen King's famous horror novel, "The Shining." The story was based on his own experience visiting the Stanley Hotel in 1974 after successfully recovering from drug addiction.
However, Yau was not prepared for seeing something unusual. Speaking to Fox News on April 14th, Yau said, "I knew the hotel was haunted, but I didn't imagine I would capture something like this."

“I’ve never liked having people in my photos, so I only took the picture when there was no one else on the stairs,” Yau recalled. That evening, he felt “more tired than usual,” nauseous, and unable to sleep.
The next morning, Yau reviewed the photos and noticed something unusual. He immediately posted the picture on Facebook on April 12th with the caption: “Oh my God! I think I actually saw a ghost at the Stanley Hotel, EstesPark.” When asked about it, Yau added: “While at the Stanley, I took a tour and they said the wandering ghosts there are happy ghosts. I hope what appears in the photo is also happy.”

Built in 1909, the Stanley Hotel is known as a haunted house but only really gained popularity in the 1970s. “The Stanley is a hot spot for ghost hunters. There are unusual things going on there and now I’m a real believer,” Yau says.
