'Hai Lo' gives shocking assessment when Ho Chi Minh City Club has Coach Miura
Ho Chi Minh City Club is causing a stir in the V.League transfer market and recently expert Le Thuy Hai talked about this issue.
As soon as V.League 2017 ended, Ho Chi Minh City Club (HCMC) caused a shock by immediately saying goodbye to the head coach and more than 10 players in the main squad. With this bold decision, the team of acting president Le Cong Vinh was forced to make massive purchases to fill the gap left by those who left.
Coach Le Thuy Hai believes that next season Ho Chi Minh City will at least be in the top 3 of V.League.
First, on the coaching bench, Ho Chi Minh City shocked everyone when they decided to appoint former head coach of Vietnam National Team, Mr. Toshiya Miura. This information was confirmed by Le Cong Vinh. In addition, Ho Chi Minh City also brought in another former member of Vietnam National Team, fitness expert Martin Forkel.
Along with that, acting president Le Cong Vinh also recruited many famous players such as Phi Son, Sam Ngoc Duc, Thanh Diep, Van Thanh, Ngoc Thinh, Van Thuan... all of these contracts will be officially announced by Ho Chi Minh City Club at the ceremony on January 5.
With quality additions, surely V.League 2018 Ho Chi Minh City Club will be very strong. This is also the opinion of coach Le Thuy Hai, he believes that next season the team of acting president Le Cong Vinh can win the championship or at least be in the top 3 strongest teams.
"Hiring a fitness coach is very good, all the clubs in the world do it. Of course, having a foreign coach is also very good. The important thing is having money, training conditions... everything else. In my opinion, hiring like that is good. I believe that Ho Chi Minh City Club has people like that, with such a good coach, they will definitely be first, second or at least top three next year," coach Le Thuy Hai was quoted as saying on Tri Thuc Tre.
Coach Miura used to work with the Vietnam national team, so he understands Vietnamese players to some extent. Japanese coach Ono Shingi once commented: "Whether it will be successful or not, we cannot make an assessment right now. However, Mr. Miura has spent time leading the Vietnam national team, so he has an understanding of Vietnamese football. This is a great advantage when he has experience to promote many things, thereby helping Ho Chi Minh City Club become stronger."
According to expert Le Thuy Hai, although he has experience working with the national team, it will be very difficult for Mr. Miura to move to the V.League. Because at the club level, the players in the team are not a collection of the best quality names. The playing style and long-term campaign are also very different from working with the national team.
