Two foreign players are taking the V.League by storm.

Despite being newcomers to the V.League, Lima and Claudecir have already caused problems for many teams. Now, all opponents must give these two newcomers special attention.

Claudecir is becoming a sensation in the V.League after joining QNK.QN and scoring goals with remarkable efficiency. In just 4 matches, the 27-year-old striker has scored 6 goals, averaging one goal every 60 minutes. Meanwhile, the two leading scorers in the V.League, Gaston Merlo and Samson, have a goal-scoring rate of 105 minutes/goal and 112.25 minutes/goal respectively. In the most recent match, a 4-4 draw against FLC Thanh Hoa, Claudecir scored a hat-trick – something Merlo hasn't achieved.

Coach Hoang Van Phuc couldn't be happier with Claudecir's outstanding performance. More importantly, Claudecir and Diao Sadio are forming a formidable attacking duo for QNK.QN. Of course, every opponent will have to be wary of this pair, especially Claudecir – the most successful signing of this V.League season and a prolific goalscorer whose efficiency would make even the top scorer envious.

Lima is currently the hope of Saigon FC.

Saigon FC bravely let go of Jean-Eudes Maurice, a striker who had spent seven years with PSG, to sign Dudu Lima, and this speaks volumes about the value of this Brazilian player. To date, Lima has played four matches and scored two goals, matching Maurice's total for the entire first half of the season. The results have proven the right decision by coach Duc Thang.

In the match against QNK.QN, Saigon FC was trailing by 3 goals, but Lima constantly encouraged and motivated his teammates to push forward, and he himself scored a goal to reduce the deficit to 2-3. Ultimately, Saigon FC staged a comeback to equalize 3-3, with all three goals scored within six minutes. In Saigon FC's narrow 1-0 victory over SLNA at the packed Thong Nhat Stadium in Nghe An, Lima scored the only goal with a superb header.

Coach Duc Thang said: “Lima is even better than that because with a team that plays a coordinated style like Saigon FC, Lima needs more time to adapt.
