Two children fought, grandmother hospitalized.

Late on January 13th, Ms. LTĐ (57 years old, residing in Ben Luc, Long An) was brought to the Emergency Department of Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, with a broken left arm and multiple bruises on her body.

Lying on a stretcher, Mrs. D. recounted that on the afternoon of January 13th, her 6-year-old grandson was playing with a neighbor's child. The two boys were playing around and then got into a fight. What seemed like a children's incident escalated into an argument between the two fathers, who then physically attacked each other.

Seeing this, Mrs. D. intervened to defend her son but was beaten and slashed. Her son also suffered a minor slash wound to the neck; the neighbor was taken to the police station for questioning.
