At noon on October 15th, a 15-year-old boy returning home from school to his small house in an alley off Xuan Thoi Thuong 9 Street, Hoc Mon District (Ho Chi Minh City), was horrified to find his parents, aged 50-56, lying on the floor with multiple injuries. By the time neighbors rushed over, the victims had already died.
Some people said they had heard the couple arguing loudly earlier, with the house closed. They have two children and have been renting the house for almost a year. The wife teaches yoga at home while the husband works outside.
As of the afternoon of October 15th, the Hoc Mon District Police, along with other specialized units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, were still examining the scene and taking statements from those involved.
