This will be the first time in history that a sitting South Korean president has been questioned by prosecutors.
Prosecutors are investigating whether Park exerted inappropriate pressure on corporate leaders to contribute to two foundations controlled by Choi.
Prosecutors have questioned the chairmen of Hyundai Motor and Korean Airlines. They plan to question the de facto leaders of Samsung Group and other major conglomerate leaders. Many of these leaders met with Park last July before donating large sums of money to two foundations controlled by Choi.
Hundreds of thousands of people marched in Seoul yesterday, demanding that President Park resign. Many believe she is unfit to lead the country.
