(Baonghean.vn) - Bua Cave, a scenic spot associated with historical legends, customs, traditions, and cultural life of the ancient Thai ethnic people, is one of the archaeological sites in Nghe An containing cultural traces from many eras. Here, scientists have found fossilized animal species and important archaeological artifacts in the sediment layers, such as production tools of the ancient Vietnamese people from the late Neolithic period. Bua Cave is a place where earth and sky meet, a magnificent beauty bestowed upon humanity by nature.

As usual, every year in January, people from all over western Nghe An province flock to Phu Quy - Quy Chau to participate in the Bua Cave Festival, which is held from the 20th to the 22nd of the first lunar month.
Hang Bua, meaning "Bua Abyss" in Thai, is formed on the Pha En limestone mountain range in Na Nhang village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau district, 170 km northwest of Vinh City.
Over millions of years of natural geological formation, Bua Cave has acquired an incredibly majestic and mysterious beauty that few other caves possess.
Archaeologists have found fossils of many ancient animal species in Bua Cave.
Here, traces of ancient Vietnamese people have also been found through tools for labor and production, such as stone axes from the Neolithic period. This is what creates curiosity and attracts tourists whenever they set foot in Bua Cave.
